Introducing: Arts Estate Kingston

If you follow our personal accounts you’ve probably seen us designing and building out a special new space to share with you.

It’s in Kingston, NY on a tree-lined corner just a few blocks behind some of our favorite shops and cafes (👋 @kingstonwineco @halfmoonrondoutcafe @rosiegeneral @cloveandcreek @downtown_cafe91 @hopspetunia @chicorynaturalist @brunettewinebar). Surrounded by three beautiful inactive churches it also sits next door to the incredible space (and wonderful people/pioneers) @churchdesartistes.

After 6+ years living at the edge of Catskill Park and the glorious nature, peacefulness (and isolation) that comes with it, we were craving more art, culture, restaurants, music, coffee shops, humans… things that are in abundance in NYC but are a bit more of a trek in the mountains. We think we’ve found a pretty magical balance in Kingston and can’t wait to welcome you here.

A center hall Italianate from 1863 with a verdant private garden, the building was previously home to generations of pastor’s families, a French count, musicians, teachers, and a ship’s captain. Our aim has been to retain the soul and character of this special place while enhancing comfort and function.

Why the name Arts Estate? My background as a dancer and new media director with New York City Ballet, @dougjaeger’s career in digital design and advertising, the design and media we’ve created together for The Clark, Wylie Dufresne, Diller, Scofidio + Renfro, and separately for the Art Directors Club, MoMA, violinist Augustin Hadelich, and the Ailey School have inspired us to infuse the space with artistic influences while creating a clean canvas for guests’ own inspiration to occur. Our personal collection of dance and design artifacts will provide a foundation for celebrating more diverse forms of art to reflect the idea that art is all around us.

Designed for overnight guests (up to 6 adults and 4 children) the space is also well equipped for retreats, presentations, screenings, workshops, cocktails and culinary gatherings.

Bookings are now open via @thereset.club website with introductory pricing through 2025 as we fine-tune all the things 🏡⛲️✨

See you in Kingston!
