Remodelista reached out to talk to us about the design process and thinking behind the creation of Cook House.

After starting our hosting journey with Zink Cabin, Cook House was the first property where we did a complete renovation that was 100% designed with overnight guests in mind.

The home also fully integrates smart technology to allow for seamless control of many of the home’s features through voice or app.

And because the home is modest in size, we did a lot with custom built-in furnishings and indirect lighting to maximize the space, comfort, and flow. We even removed all of the walls upstairs (except for the bathroom of course) to create a light-filled, open and airy primary suite.
