MINIMUM STAY
We generally have a 3-night minimum for weekend stays which we find gives you the best possible experience even if leaving very early on the final morning.
Occasionally you may find 1 or 2-night stays available when there are gaps between regular bookings.

BOOKING CONFIRMATION
In order to confirm your reservation, we require that you digitally sign our basic guest agreement (easy even on a mobile phone) as well as complete our ID verification (also easily executed even on a mobile phone) through our verification partner, Superhog.
You will receive links to complete these items via email upon booking.

SUPPLY SHOP
All Catskills bookings receive a credit to our Supply Shop.
This includes free delivery of your items to your property before your stay, if you place your order 48 hours before check-in.
After the 48 hour window, you can still get free delivery during your stay for any orders of $100 or more.
We stock high quality natural, sustainable, and local (when possible) beverages, food, and gifts that are representative of many unique and passionate creators/business owners.

CANCELLATIONS
More than 30 days before arrival:
- 100% refund (less $75 fee), or
- 100% credit to use within 1 year for a future stay at the same property.
More than 7 days before arrival:
- 50% refund (less $75 fee) , or
- 50% credit to use within 1 year for a future stay at the same property.
Within 7 days of arrival there is no refund. Please consider purchasing travel insurance from Insurestays during checkout.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
For extra convenience we offer travel insurance through Insurestays which can be purchased alongside your booking for an additional 7%.

COMMUNICATION
You’ll receive both a welcome email as well as an SMS message (for US-based cell phones) upon booking your stay with us.

Check In Day
On the morning of your check-in, you will receive an email and an SMS message containing your custom access code and easy instructions for operating the door lock.
You will also a receive the WiFi details and Sonos information for a smooth check-in at the property.

The space
Featured in Vogue, Curbed, and Remodelista, Cook House is a fully renovated modern cottage in the Catskills with cozy minimalist vibes and kitchen gear designed to inspire your inner chef.
Great for couples and individuals looking to relax, cook, work, and enjoy nature.
BEDS
The open bedroom has a queen-size bed with a drop-down projection screen and AppleTV. The bedroom also features a 10’ long floating desk and a Miele washer/dryer.
The bed is made with pressed and professionally laundered Parachute linens and features a Keetsa mattress.
The bathroom features Grown Alchemist body products.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is well appointed with a full-sized refrigerator and icemaker, dishwasher, 5-burner propane stove, Joule sous vide, enameled cast iron cookware, a Nespresso machine, Fellow kettle and Kinto pour-over setup, and an outdoor propane grill.
The kitchen is open to the living area, creating a comfortable open space for lounging, cooking, reading, and listening to records. This main room also connects to the covered front porch for easy outdoor dining.
Cast Iron Propane Fireplace
We have a freestanding cast iron propane fireplace, which keeps the house toasty without the hassle of kindling and splinters. Please be sure never to place anything on top of it.
The fireplace is controlled by a Nest thermostat on the wall.
AIR CONDITIONER/ELECTRIC HEAT
There is a split-unit air conditioner, which keeps the house nice and cool in the summer. It is controlled by a remote that sits next to the thermostat on the wall.
GETTING TO THE house
We are on a paved, dead-end road that gets reliably plowed and is easy to access. The driveway features a Tesla charger as well as a general 50amp plug for charging other EVs.
We also have chickens nearby who sometimes come around to visit. If you are interested in meeting or feeding them please let us know! They are friendly and sometimes give us extra eggs to share with guests :)
House Rules
Reduced rates are available for stays of a week or more and are automatically calculated at checkout.
We love animals, but unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate them at this property.
Only guests listed on your reservation may enter the property unless otherwise discussed and agreed.
No smoking indoors.
The property is not to be used for commercial, stock photography, sponsored media, or video purposes. If you would like to use the space in this way, please contact us for pricing and location release.
